How it works

1. Activate Shuttle Ace by tapping it, adding .
2. Shuttle Ace triggers, causing you to gain 2 life
3. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping Shuttle Ace.
4. Repeat.

By enchanting Shuttle Ace with Karametra's Favor, we transform the pilot into a mana source that taps for any color—crucially including the blue mana required by Freed from the Real. Once Freed from the Real is attached to the same creature, its untap ability can be fueled entirely by the mana generated from tapping Shuttle Ace, creating a closed-loop engine. Because tapping Shuttle Ace also satisfies its own condition, the loop simultaneously leverages its lifegain trigger to yield infinite life.
