How it works

1. At the beginning of your combat phase, Offspring's Revenge triggers, exiling Tree of Perdition from your graveyard and creating a 1/1 copy of it with haste.
2. When the Tree of Perdition token enters the battlefield, Electropotence triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate the Tree of Perdition token by tapping it, swapping an opponent's life total with Tree of Perdition's toughness.
4. Resolve the Electropotence trigger, causing you to pay 2 to have the Tree of Perdition token deal damage equal to its power to the opponent whose life total was swapped.
5. The opponent loses the game due to having zero or les life.

This clever three-card loop weaponizes the graveyard to instantly drain an opponent out of nowhere. Offspring's Revenge sets the stage at the start of combat by resurrecting a miniature version of Tree of Perdition as a hasty 1/1 token. As that token arrives, Electropotence triggers to give you an opening, which you seize by tapping the Tree of Perdition token to swap your unwary foe's life total down to a fragile 1. Finally, you pay the mana for Electropotence's ability to deal damage equal to the token's power, finishing off the opponent before they even have a chance to react.
