How it works

1. Activate Mindless Automaton by removing two +1/+1 counters from it, causing you to draw two cards.
2. Stark's Ingenuity triggers twice, putting two +1/+1 counters on Mindless Automaton
3. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Mindless Automaton into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting the replacement effect of Thought Reflection. When you remove two +1/+1 counters to activate the Automaton's ability, Thought Reflection doubles the resulting card draw into two cards. Those draws trigger Stark's Ingenuity twice, immediately replacing the exact two +1/+1 counters you just removed to reset the whole process.
