This clever engine turns Mindless Automaton's counter-to-card conversion into a self-sustaining loop by weaponizing replacement effects and card draw triggers. Whenever you cash in two counters from Mindless Automaton to draw a card, Lyla, Holographic Assistant triggers to place a replacement-boosted +1/+1 counter right back onto the construct. That's where Winding Constrictor changes the math entirely: its static ability ensures that whenever counters are placed on your artifacts or creatures, you get an extra one, meaning Lyla actually drops *two* counters on Mindless Automaton instead of one. Because you start with enough counters to draw, net a surplus through the snake's replacement effect, and instantly restock the automaton, you can repeat the process indefinitely for infinite card draw.
