How it works

1. Activate Mindless Automaton by removing two +1/+1 counters from it, causing you to draw two cards.
2. Iron Man triggers twice, putting two +1/+1 counters on Mindless Automaton
3. Repeat.

This brilliant loop turns Mindless Automaton into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting its ability to cash in its own growth for cards. Ordinarily, removing those counters would leave the automaton dry, but Alhammarret's Archive steps in to double your card draw, ensuring every activation yields two cards instead of one. Those extra draws feed directly into Iron Man, Armored Avenger, whose passive triggered ability places two brand-new +1/+1 counters right back onto Mindless Automaton to replace the ones you just spent.
