How it works

1. Activate Orthion's second ability by paying 6 and tapping it, creating five token copies of Crosis's Attendant with haste.
2. Activate a Crosis's Attendant token by paying 1 and sacrificing it, adding .
3. When the Crosis's Attendant token dies, Orthion triggers, untapping itself.
4. Repeat from step 2 for each remaining Crosis's Attendant token.
5. Repeat from step 1.
6. Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Crosis's Attendant tokens and/or target any other creature.

This clever loop turns Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink into a one-man army generator by pairing it with Thornbite Staff, which automatically equips to Orthion thanks to its Shaman creature type. When you activate Orthion's expensive second ability, it floods the board with five hasty token copies of Crosis's Attendant. Because Crosis's Attendant can sacrifice itself for three mana, you can crack them off one by one; each death triggers the Thornbite Staff to untap Orthion, while also generating a net surplus of mana to fund the next round. By cycling through your newly created resources, you achieve infinite mana of any color along with infinite creature tokens, sacrifice triggers, and death triggers.
