How it works
- Activate Orthion's second ability by paying 6 and tapping it, creating five token copies of Ganax with haste.
- Put each Ganax token into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
- Each Ganax triggers five times, for a total of thirty triggers, creating thirty Treasure artifact tokens.
- Activate ten Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 6.
- Activate Freed from the Real's second ability by paying , untapping Orthion.
- Repeat.
- Once you have infinite Treasure tokens and colored mana, you may then target any other creature using Orthion's ability.
This loop relies on the explosive synergy between Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink and Ganax, Astral Hunter, bridged together by the mana-generating engine of Freed from the Real. By enchanting Orthion with Freed from the Real, you gain the ability to repeatedly untap it for a modest blue mana investment. When you activate Orthion's massive second ability to flood the board with five token copies of Ganax, the legend rule instantly sends them to the graveyard, but not before their entrance triggers net you thirty brand-new Treasure tokens. Sacrificing just a fraction of those Treasures easily pays the activation costs for both Freed from the Real and Orthion's copy ability, leaving you with an unstoppable surplus of infinite mana, treasures, and hasty creature copies.
