How it works
- Activate Orthion's first ability by paying 1 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Su-Chi Cave Guard with haste.
- Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing the Su-Chi Cave Guard token, adding .
- When the Su-Chi Cave Guard token dies, it triggers, adding eight C.
- Activate Sword of the Paruns by paying 3, untapping Orthion.
- Repeat.
- Optionally, if you have an additional available, you may use Orthion's second ability once you have a large amount of C to get infinite , which can then be used to activate Orthion infinitely targeting any other creature(s).
This intricate loop transforms the heavy mana generation of Su-Chi Cave Guard into an unstoppable engine by leveraging Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink to repeatedly clone it. Every time the token is sacrificed to Thermopod for red mana, Su-Chi Cave Guard's death trigger replaces that investment many times over with a massive influx of colorless mana. To keep the momentum going, Sword of the Paruns uses that generated mana to untap Orthion, allowing the whole sequence to repeat endlessly.
