How it works

1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
2. Lyla triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 0 and removing a counter from a creature you control.
4. Repeat.

This intricate loop transforms a humble artifact into a continuous engine by leveraging the top-deck casting permission granted by Falco Spara, Pactweaver. Cloud Key lightens the load by reducing the artifact's mana cost to zero, allowing you to replay it for free off the top of your library. Each time Sensei's Divining Top draws you a card, Lyla, Holographic Assistant triggers to place a fresh +1/+1 counter on a creature—which Falco Spara then consumes as alternate payment to recast the Top. Sensei's Divining Top's own tapping ability naturally tucks itself back onto the library just in time to repeat the cycle indefinitely.
