How it works

  1. Activate Wirewood Channeler by tapping it, adding at least G manaG manaG manaG manaG mana or U manaU manaU manaU manaU mana.
  2. Activate Temur Sabertooth by paying 1G mana, returning Deceiver Exarch to your hand from the battlefield.
  3. Cast Deceiver Exarch by paying 2U mana.
  4. When Deceiver Exarch enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping Wirewood Channeler.
  5. Repeat.
  6. If you control six or more Elves, this combo nets infinite mana.

This engine transforms a high Elven population into a self-sustaining mana-generating loop, fueled by Wirewood Channeler's ability to scale its mana production with the number of Elves on the battlefield. By channeling that surplus into Temur Sabertooth's activation cost, you bounce Deceiver Exarch back to your hand so it can be re-cast. Every time you cast Deceiver Exarch, its flash capability lets it slide in whenever you need, and its enter-the-battlefield trigger untaps Wirewood Channeler to reset the whole cycle for a net positive of mana.
