How it works

1. Cast Deranged Hermit by paying 3.
2. When Deranged Hermit enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating eight 1/1 Squirrel creature tokens.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar seven times by sacrificing seven Squirrels, adding 4.
4. Activate Temur Sabertooth by paying 1, returning Deranged Hermit to your hand from the battlefield.
5. Repeat.

This brilliant loop turns Deranged Hermit into a one-card token factory by leveraging Parallel Lives to double the Squirrel swarm upon entry. With the doubled army in play, Phyrexian Altar steps in to convert those sacrificial tokens into the exact mana you need to fuel Temur Sabertooth's activation cost. You then use Temur Sabertooth to bounce the original Hermit back to your hand safely, allowing you to replay it, churn out another doubled batch of Squirrels, and repeat the cycle for infinite mana and tokens.
