How it works

1. Activate Axebane Guardian by tapping it, adding an amount of .
2. Activate Temur Sabertooth by paying 1, returning Axebane Guardian from the battlefield to your hand.
3. Cast Axebane Guardian by paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.

This infinite mana engine relies on Axebane Guardian generating enough green mana through its defender-counting tap ability to fully fund the bounce cost of Temur Sabertooth. Once you replay the Guardian, the haste granted by Gimli's Reckless Might allows it to bypass summoning sickness immediately, letting you tap it again to repeat the loop. Because Axebane Guardian counts itself among your defenders, each iteration can yield a net positive of mana while churning out infinite enter-the-battlefield and leave-the-battlefield triggers.
