How it works

  1. Cast Aeve by paying 5.
  2. Aeve's storm ability triggers, creating a token copy of Aeve for each spell you've cast before it this turn.
  3. Resolve the first Aeve spell.
  4. Aeve enters the battlefield, triggering Mana Echoes, adding C for each Ooze you control.
  5. Repeat from step 4 for each Aeve spell remaining.
  6. Activate Temur Sabertooth by paying 2, returning the nontoken Aeve from the battlefield to your hand.
  7. Repeat.

This loop scales exponentially by turning the Ooze creature type into a universal currency; because Mycosynth Lattice makes every permanent an artifact, its color-bending traits matter less than how it prepares the board, while the real engine takes off as Aeve, Progenitor Ooze enters the battlefield and triggers Mana Echoes for each Ooze you control, flooding your pool with colorless mana that Mycosynth Lattice lets you spend as any color. With that massive mana foundation secured, Temur Sabertooth swoops in to return the original nontoken Aeve to your hand for reuse, letting you recast it to build an ever-growing storm count that feeds future copies of Aeve, Progenitor Ooze into even bigger Mana Echoes payouts.
