How it works

  1. Cast Somberwald Beastmaster by paying G mana.
  2. Animar triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
  3. Somberwald Beastmaster enters the battlefield, creating a 2/2 Wolf, 3/3 Beast and 4/4 Beast creature token.
  4. Activate Phyrexian Altar three times by sacrificing the Wolf and two Beasts, adding 1G manaG mana.
  5. Activate Temur Sabertooth by paying 1G mana, returning Somberwald Beastmaster from the battlefield to your hand.
  6. Repeat.
