How it works

  1. Cast Skitterbeam Batallion by paying 0.
  2. Animar triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
  3. Skitterbeam Batallion enters the battlefield, creating two token copies of it.
  4. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing the two Skitterbeam Batallion tokens, adding 1G mana.
  5. Activate Temur Sabertooth by paying 1G mana, returning Skitterbeam Batallion from the battlefield to your hand.
  6. Repeat.
