How it works

1. Activate Kilo by tapping it, adding .
2. Kilo triggers, causing you to proliferate.
3. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping Kilo.
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop relies on turning your commander into a mana-producing engine that feeds directly back into itself. By enchanting Kilo, Apogee Mind with Freed from the Real, you can use the blue enchantment's ability to untap Kilo while leveraging Esika, God of the Tree // The Prismatic Bridge to grant Kilo the ability to tap for any color of mana—or simply tapping Kilo to pay the untap cost itself. Because Kilo's own trigger causes you to proliferate whenever it becomes tapped, every iteration of this tapping and untapping not only refunds the mana needed to keep going, but also infinitely increases any counters already on your permanents and players.
