How it works

1. Activate Squandered Resources by sacrificing a land, adding one mana of any color that land could produce.
2. Repeat step 1 until you have at least 4 available and/or you control no other mana-producing lands.
3. Activate Aftermath Analyst by paying 3 and sacrificing it, returning all land cards from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
4. When the lands enter the battlefield, Felidar Retreat triggers that many times, creating that many creature tokens.
5. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying EE, sacrificing a creature and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning Aftermath Analyst from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Aftermath Analyst enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to mill three cards.
7. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying 1.
8. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get EEE.
9. Repeat.

This loop transforms your entire graveyard and land base into a massive engine by cycling Aftermath Analyst in and out of play using Chthonian Nightmare. As you sacrifice lands for mana with Squandered Resources to fund the loop, Aftermath Analyst brings them all right back, which in turn floods the board with tokens thanks to Felidar Retreat's landfall ability. Chthonian Nightmare's energy generation and return clauses make it easy to continuously recur Aftermath Analyst while churning through your library, netting infinite resources and triggers along the way.
