How it works

1. Activate Squandered Resources by sacrificing a land, adding one mana of any color that land could produce.
2. Repeat step 1 until you have at least 4 available and/or you control no other mana-producing lands.
3. Activate Aftermath Analyst by paying 3 and sacrificing it, returning all land cards from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
4. When the lands enter the battlefield, each Scute Swarm you control triggers that many times, creating that many creature tokens.
5. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying EE, sacrificing a creature and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning Aftermath Analyst from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Aftermath Analyst enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to mill three cards.
7. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying 1.
8. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get EEE.
9. Repeat.

This recursive engine transforms your graveyard into a raging storm of life by looping Aftermath Analyst with the energy-fueled recursion of Chthonian Nightmare. You begin by converting your entire board into raw fuel using Squandered Resources, cashing in your lands for mana to fund the operation while filling your graveyard to the brim. When Aftermath Analyst brings that entire land-mass back to the battlefield tapped, Scute Swarm floods the board with an exponentially growing army of tokens. Finally, you use one of those newly minted creatures to pay for Chthonian Nightmare's return to your hand, allowing you to replay the enchantment, net extra energy, and loop the whole cycle again.
