How it works

1. Activate Squandered Resources by sacrificing Bayou, adding .
2. Activate Floral Evoker by paying and discarding Veilborn Ghoul, returning Bayou from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
3. When Bayou enters, Floral Evoker and Veilborn Ghoul trigger.
4. Resolve the Floral Evoker trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Resolve the Veilborn Ghoul trigger, returning it from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This loop turns a simple cycle of land sacrifice and recovery into an engine of endless growth and recurrence, powered by the mana-generating versatility of Squandered Resources. By feeding your trusty Bayou to the sacrifice outlet, you generate the exact green mana needed to activate Floral Evoker's ability, discarding Veilborn Ghoul to fish that very same Bayou right back out of the graveyard and onto the battlefield tapped. That land's arrival simultaneously triggers the Evoker to pile on infinite +1/+1 counters and awakens Veilborn Ghoul's landfall ability, letting you effortlessly return the Ghoul to your hand so it's ready to be pitched all over again.
