How it works

1. Activate Zameck Guildmage's first ability by paying .
2. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing the persist creature.
3. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Zameck Guildmage.
4. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop turns a classic creature sacrifice engine into a self-sustaining card advantage and growth machine. By pre-funding your board with Zameck Guildmage's first ability, you ensure that whenever your persist creature returns from the graveyard, it drops right back onto the battlefield with an offsetting +1/+1 counter that neutralizes its native -1/-1 counter drawback. You then feed that same creature to Bloodflow Connoisseur to satisfy its sacrifice cost, which in turn grows the Connoisseur with a brand-new +1/+1 counter while immediately triggering the persist mechanic all over again.
