How it works

1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing it.
2. When Viscera Seer dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Viscera Seer from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability.
4. Cast Viscera Seer from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
5. Aetherflux Reservoir triggers, causing you to gain 1 life for each spell you've cast this turn.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop lets you recast the same creature infinitely by turning your graveyard into an extension of your hand. With Bolas's Citadel granting you the ability to play from the top of your library for life instead of mana, you simply sacrifice Viscera Seer to its own ability, triggering Mortuary to seamlessly recycle it right back to the top of your library. Each time you recast Viscera Seer, Aetherflux Reservoir tracks your storm count and rewards your endless spellcasting with a surging tide of life, keeping your life total safely elevated above the cost of the Citadel. Eventually, that amassed life becomes ammunition, allowing you to turn Aetherflux Reservoir's activated ability toward any target and seal the game.
