How it works

1. Activate Tinder Wall by sacrificing it.
2. When Tinder Wall dies, Mortuary and Proper Burial trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Tinder Wall from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Proper Burial trigger, causing you to gain 3 life.
5. Cast Tinder Wall from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This clever engine lets you endlessly recycle Tinder Wall right off the top of your library, fueled by Bolas's Citadel allowing you to bypass mana costs by paying life instead. Every time you sacrifice Tinder Wall for its red mana, Mortuary catches it on its way to the graveyard and neatly places it right back on top of your library. Meanwhile, Proper Burial cushions the life-payment cost of the Citadel by feeding you life equal to the sacrificed creature's toughness, completely offsetting the toll and letting the loop run indefinitely.
