How it works

1. Cast Phyrexian Dreadnought from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
2. When Phyrexian Dreadnought enters, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice it.
3. When Phyrexian Dreadnought dies, Mortuary and Al Bhed Salvagers trigger.
4. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Phyrexian Dreadnought from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Resolve the Al Bhed Salvagers trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This cunning loop lets you recast a single creature straight from the top of your library over and over again, fueled entirely by life rather than mana thanks to Bolas's Citadel. When you cast Phyrexian Dreadnought this way, its own entry trigger forces it to be sacrificed immediately, sending it straight to the graveyard. That death is where the magic happens: Mortuary instantly rescues the Dreadnought by placing it right back on top of your library, while Al Bhed Salvagers weaponizes the loop by draining your opponents and padding your life total to keep paying the Citadel's toll.
