How it works
- Cast Mishra's Bauble either from your hand by paying 0 or from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
- Showdown of the Skalds triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Arcbound Reclaimer.
- Activate Mishra's Bauble by tapping and sacrificing it.
- Activate Arcbound Reclaimer by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, putting Mishra's Bauble from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns zero-mana artifacts into a perpetual motion machine by recycling them right back to where you found them. Bolas's Citadel lets you peer at the top of your library and cast Mishra's Bauble for free, which immediately triggers the second chapter of Showdown of the Skalds to place a +1/+1 counter on Arcbound Reclaimer. You then sacrifice Mishra's Bauble to draw a delayed card, and spend that freshly placed +1/+1 counter using Arcbound Reclaimer's ability to recycle the Bauble straight back to the top of your library. By repeating this process, you generate infinite artifact triggers and pumps while setting up an absolute mountain of delayed card draw for your next upkeep.
