How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Ornithopter
2. When Ornithopter dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Ornithopter from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability.
4. Cast Ornithopter from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns the zero-cost artifact creature Ornithopter into a self-sustaining engine by leveraging the passive graveyard manipulation of Mortuary. With Bolas's Citadel granting you the ability to cast spells directly from the top of your library—paying life instead of mana—you can repeatedly feed Ornithopter to Bloodflow Connoisseur.
