How it works

1. Activate Tinder Wall by sacrificing it.
2. When Tinder Wall dies, Mortuary and Blood Artist trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Tinder Wall from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Blood Artist trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Cast Tinder Wall from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This loop transforms the humble Tinder Wall into an engine of endless sacrifice by leveraging Mortuary to redirect the creature straight from the graveyard back to the top of your library every time it dies. Bolas's Citadel makes this recursion self-sustaining by letting you play that Tinder Wall directly off the library for a mere 1 life instead of its mana cost, while simultaneously converting the sacrificed creature into the red mana needed to fund the loop's activation. Finally, Blood Artist oversees the entire cycle, draining your opponents to zero life through a relentless cascade of death triggers while comfortably padding your own life total to keep paying Bolas's Citadel's life costs.
