How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Crookshank Kobolds
2. When Crookshank Kobolds dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Crookshank Kobolds from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Cast Crookshank Kobolds from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Bolas's Citadel to bypass traditional mana costs altogether, letting you cast Crookshank Kobolds directly from the top of your library for zero life. Once it enters the battlefield, Thermopod is right there to convert it into fresh red mana through sacrifice while also handling the snow-covered requirement for its haste ability. As the creature hits the graveyard, Mortuary instantly steps in to recycle it right back to the top of your library, setting up the Citadel to cast it again.
