How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Ornithopter
2. When Ornithopter dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Ornithopter from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
4. Cast Ornithopter from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This loop creates an infinite storm of sacrifices and triggers by turning life into raw momentum. Bolas's Citadel anchors the engine by letting you cast spells directly from the top of your library, trading life for mana costs. Meanwhile, Mortuary ensures that whenever your cheap pieces hit the graveyard, they immediately cycle right back to the top of that library. Ornithopter serves as the ultimate zero-cost fuel for this cycle, allowing you to repeatedly sacrifice it to Phantom Train. Phantom Train not only animates itself into a creature by consuming the thopter, but it also grows with +1/+1 counters along the way, converting your eternal loop into a lethal threat.
