How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Tarpan.
2. When Tarpan dies, it and Mortuary triggers.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Tarpan from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Tarpan trigger, causing you to gain 1 life
5. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
6. Cast Tarpan from the top of your library by paying 1 life due to Bolas's Citadel.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a humble centaur into an endless engine by using Yahenni, Undying Partisan's free sacrifice outlet to continuously feed Tarpan into the graveyard. Every time Tarpan hits the yard, Mortuary instantly redirects it right back to the top of your library, where Bolas's Citadel allows you to recast it for a mere 1 life instead of its mana cost. That exact 1 life payment is conveniently offset by the life you gain when Tarpan's own death trigger resolves, allowing you to cycle through the loop indefinitely to generate infinite storm count and death triggers without ever running out of life.
