How it works

1. Activate Fain's third ability by tapping it and sacrificing another artifact, creating a 2/1 Inkling creature token.
2. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing the Inkling.
3. When the Inkling dies, Fain and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
4. Resolve the Fain trigger, untapping it.
5. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
6. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability, causing you to scry 1.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Fain, the Broker and an artifact into an infinite engine of death and discovery. By feeding an Inkling token created by Fain into Viscera Seer, you trigger Pitiless Plunderer to generate a precious Treasure token, which in turn can be sacrificed to fuel the next iteration of Fain's token-making ability. While Thornbite Staff isn't strictly necessary for this specific artifact-sacrificing loop, the entire operation is held together by the death-tracking triggers of Pitiless Plunderer and the deck-manipulating sacrifice outlet Viscera Seer, letting you sculpt your library infinitely while generating endless triggers.
