How it works

1. Activate Ghired by tapping it, creating a token copy of any creature token you control that entered the battlefield this turn.
2. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing the creature token.
3. When the token dies, Ghired triggers, untapping itself.
4. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability, causing you to scry 1.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds into a self-contained token-copying engine by leaning on the triggered ability of Thornbite Staff to continuously untap him. With the Staff equipped to Ghired—who conveniently brings haste to the table so he doesn't have to wait around—you simply tap him to create a copy of a creature token that entered the battlefield this turn. Then, Viscera Seer steps in to sacrifice that newly minted token, which triggers Thornbite Staff to untap Ghired so you can do it all over again. Every iteration of this cycle feeds Viscera Seer's sacrifice ability to sculpt your library with infinite scry triggers while generating an endless stream of enters-the-battlefield, leaves-the-battlefield, and death triggers.
