How it works

1. Activate Xu-Ifit by tapping it, returning a creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield.
2. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing the creature returned in step 1.
3. When the creature dies, Xu-Ifit triggers, untapping itself.
4. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
5. Repeat.

By outfitting Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist with Thornbite Staff, you bridge the gap between graveyard recursion and a lethal sacrifice outlet. You tap Xu-Ifit to reanimate a creature from your graveyard, which is then immediately sacrificed to Carrion Feeder to pump its size and trigger the Staff. Because Thornbite Staff untaps its equipped wielder whenever *any* creature dies, the sacrifice causes Xu-Ifit to instantly ready itself to repeat the cycle. This creates an endless loop of life, death, and sacrifice that leaves Carrion Feeder infinitely large and triggers any enters-the-battlefield or leaving-the-battlefield abilities your graveyard fodder might possess.
