How it works

1. Cast Belonging by paying 5.
2. When Belonging enters, it triggers, creating three 1/1 Shapeshifter creature tokens with changeling.
3. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Belonging.
4. When Belonging dies, Rat King triggers, untapping Rat King.
5. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
6. Activate Rat King by tapping it and sacrificing the Shapeshifters.
7. When the Shapeshifters die, Rat King triggers three times, untapping Rat King.
8. Resolve the Rat King ability from step 5, returning Belonging from your graveyard to the battlefield.
9. Repeat from step 2.

By casting Belonging, you instantly flood the board with changeling tokens thanks to its entry trigger, while Carrion Feeder stands ready to sacrifice them. This feeds the engine for Rat King, Verminister, whose tap ability can sacrifice those rats (and changelings) to pull Belonging right back out of the graveyard over and over again. Thornbite Staff plays the crucial passive role here by watching the constant stream of dying creatures and automatically untapping your sacrifice-and-return engine every single time a creature hits the bin, fueling an endless loop of exits, entries, and infinite growth.
