How it works

1. Activate Ghired by tapping it, creating a token copy of any creature token you control that entered the battlefield this turn.
2. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing the creature token.
3. When the token dies, Ghired triggers, untapping itself.
4. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat.

By equipping Thornbite Staff to Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds, we unlock a clever synergy that transforms Ghired's tap ability into a self-sustaining loop. Because Thornbite Staff untaps its equipped creature whenever any creature dies, sacrificing the token copy we just created using Bloodflow Connoisseur immediately readies Ghired to tap and duplicate that token once more. This creates a closed cycle of creation, sacrifice, and untapping that pumps infinite +1/+1 counters onto Bloodflow Connoisseur while generating an endless storm of entry, death, and sacrifice triggers.
