How it works

  1. Activate Jaxis by paying R mana, tapping it and discarding a card, creating a token copy of any nonlegendary creature you control with haste.
  2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the copy, adding R mana.
  3. The creature dies, triggering itself and Jaxis.
  4. Resolve the creature's trigger, causing you to draw a card.
  5. Resolve the Jaxis trigger, untapping it.
  6. Repeat.
