How it works

1. Activate Wight of the Reliquary by tapping it and sacrificing another creature.
2. When the creature dies, Wight of the Reliquary triggers, untapping Wight of the Reliquary.
3. Resolve the Wight of the Reliquary ability from step 1, causing you to search your library for a land card and put it onto the battlefield tapped.
4. When the land enters the battlefield, Felidar Retreat triggers, creating a 2/2 Cat Beast creature token.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns Wight of the Reliquary into a relentless land-fetching engine by weaponizing Thornbite Staff's triggered ability whenever a sacrificed creature dies to untap the equipped Shaman. Each time a land enters the battlefield as a result of that search, Felidar Retreat triggers to pump out a fresh 2/2 Cat Beast token. You can then immediately feed that newly created token right back into Wight of the Reliquary, perpetuating the cycle to flood the battlefield with every land from your deck while generating an endless stream of landfall triggers.
