How it works

1. Activate Whisper by tapping it and sacrificing two other nontoken creatures.
2. Pawn of Ulamog, Blood Artist and Whisper each trigger twice.
3. Resolve both Pawn of Ulamog triggers, creating two 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature tokens.
4. Resolve both Blood Artist triggers, causing target player to lose 2 life and you to gain two life.
5. Resolve both Whisper triggers, untapping it.
6. Resolve the Whisper ability from step 1, returning target creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Activate Whisper by tapping it and sacrificing an Eldrazi Spawn token and any other nontoken creature.
8. Pawn of Ulamog triggers once, while Blood Artist and Whisper each trigger twice.
9. Resolve the Pawn of Ulamog trigger, creating a 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature token.
10. Repeat from step 4.

This looping sacrifice engine centers on Whisper, Blood Liturgist, who uses her tap ability to recur creatures from the graveyard by feeding on two of your own. To make this self-sustaining, Thornbite Staff equips to Whisper and untaps her whenever a creature dies, turning every sacrifice into an immediate reloading mechanism. Meanwhile, Pawn of Ulamog provides the expendable bodies by churning out Eldrazi Spawn tokens whenever your creatures perish, perfectly fueling Whisper's sacrifice cost. Finally, Blood Artist oversees the entire morbid cycle, draining your opponents' life totals and padding yours into the stratosphere with every single death and sacrifice.
