How it works

1. Activate Ghired by tapping it, creating a token copy of any creature token you control that entered the battlefield this turn.
2. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing the creature token.
3. When the token dies, Ghired triggers, untapping itself.
4. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds into a self-untapping engine by leveraging its haste and its ability to replicate creature tokens that entered the battlefield this turn. Once Bartolomé del Presidio sacrifices the newly minted token, Thornbite Staff's triggered ability steps in to untap Ghired upon that creature's death, allowing you to repeat the process indefinitely. Bartolomé del Presidio also greedily accepts the repeated sacrifices to grow perpetually larger, turning simple token duplication into an infinite cascade of enter-the-battlefield, death, and sacrifice triggers.
