How it works

1. Activate Wight of the Reliquary by tapping it and sacrificing another creature.
2. When the creature dies, Wight of the Reliquary triggers, untapping Wight of the Reliquary.
3. Resolve the Wight of the Reliquary ability from step 1, causing you to search your library for a land card and put it onto the battlefield tapped.
4. When the land enters the battlefield, Greensleeves triggers, creating a 3/3 Badger creature token.
5. Repeat.

This engine turns a sacrificial circle into a relentless march of nature by leaning on the interaction between a well-equipped gravedigger and a legendary sorcerer. You begin by using Thornbite Staff to grant Wight of the Reliquary the ability to untap whenever any creature dies, which turns its own land-tributing sacrifice cost into a self-sustaining loop. Every time that search successfully resolves and drops a land onto the battlefield, Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer triggers to produce a fresh 3/3 green Badger creature token.
