How it works

1. Activate Xu-Ifit by tapping it, returning a creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield.
2. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing the creature returned in step 1.
3. When the creature dies, Xu-Ifit triggers, untapping itself.
4. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist into a relentless necromancer by exploiting the untap trigger baked into Thornbite Staff, which is naturally equipped to Xu-Ifit because of its Shaman creature type. Once Xu-Ifit uses its tap ability to bring a creature back from the graveyard, you feed that resurrected soul to Yahenni, Undying Partisan's sacrifice ability. The moment that creature dies, Thornbite Staff’s second ability immediately triggers to untap Xu-Ifit, allowing you to repeat the entire process indefinitely. Meanwhile, Yahenni, Undying Partisan happily grows larger with +1/+1 counters as opposing creatures perish, and can even leverage its own sacrifice outlet to gain indestructible if needed.
