How it works
Cast Sin either from your hand or command zone by paying 5 plus commander tax if applicable.
As Sin enters, remove all counters from all artifacts, enchantments and creatures you control, putting twice that many +1/+1 counters on Sin.
Activate Arbor Adherent by tapping it, adding an amount of or equal to Sin's toughness.
Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Sin, adding G/U.
Choose to return Sin to the command zone from your graveyard.
When Sin dies, it and Arbor Adherent trigger.
Resolve the Sin trigger, putting its counters on Arbor Adherent.
Resolve the Arbor Adherent trigger, untapping it.
Repeat.
This loop turns **Sin, Unending Cataclysm** into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting the static synergy between its massive counter-scaling and **Arbor Adherent**'s dynamic mana production. When you cast Sin, its entry trigger sweeps away your existing counters to inflate its own stats—which in turn supercharges Arbor Adherent's second ability to tap for massive colored mana based on that toughness. You then use **Phyrexian Altar** to sacrifice Sin for mana and send it back to the command zone, which neatly triggers **Thornbite Staff** (equipped to Arbor Adherent via its Shaman type or manually) to untap the mana dork. By cycling Sin endlessly from the command zone, the staff and the dork continuously reset while generating infinite mana, death triggers, and astronomical +1/+1 counters for Arbor Adherent.
