How it works

1. Activate Fain's third ability by tapping it and sacrificing another artifact, creating a 2/1 Inkling creature token.
2. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing the Inkling.
3. When the Inkling dies, Fain and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
4. Resolve the Fain trigger, untapping it.
5. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
6. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability, dealing 1 damage to any target.
7. Repeat.

This loop turns Fain, the Broker into a relentless engine of destruction by outfitting them with the right tools. With Thornbite Staff granting Fain the ability to ping targets and automatically untap whenever a creature dies, we have the core recursion piece. Goblin Bombardment provides the essential sacrifice outlet to bin our creatures for damage, while Pitiless Plunderer ensures that every death generates a Treasure token to fund our continuous artifact sacrifices. Fain can then convert those very Treasures or other artifacts into fresh Inkling tokens to feed back into the grinder, letting you ping opponents and their boards to death indefinitely.
