How it works

  1. Give Niv-Mizzet deathtouch by any method.
  2. Activate Niv-Mizzet by tapping it, causing you to draw a card.
  3. Niv-Mizzet triggers, dealing 1 damage to a creature an opponent controls, and destroying the creature due to Niv-Mizzet's deathtouch.
  4. The creature dies, triggering Thornbite Staff, untapping Niv-Mizzet.
  5. Repeat.
  6. You may repeat this loop whenever a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control.
