How it works

1. Activate Xu-Ifit by tapping it, returning a creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield.
2. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing the creature returned in step 1.
3. When the creature dies, Xu-Ifit triggers, untapping itself.
4. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist to continuously resurrect a creature from your graveyard, turning it into a Skeleton stripped of its abilities. Altar of Dementia provides the necessary sacrifice outlet to instantly bin that freshly returned creature, milling your opponent in the process. Because Xu-Ifit is equipped with Thornbite Staff—which conveniently auto-attaches to Shamans like Xu-Ifit upon entering—every single creature death untaps the Osteoharmonist, resetting its tap ability so you can immediately repeat the entire cycle.
