How it works

1. Activate Wight of the Reliquary by tapping it and sacrificing another creature.
2. When the creature dies, Wight of the Reliquary triggers, untapping Wight of the Reliquary.
3. Resolve the Wight of the Reliquary ability from step 1, causing you to search your library for a land card and put it onto the battlefield tapped.
4. When the land enters the battlefield, Thranduil the Strategist triggers, creating a creature token.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on transforming your creature graveyard into a relentless land-finding engine, made possible because Wight of the Reliquary naturally shares the Shaman creature type that allows Thornbite Staff to automatically equip to it upon entry. By sacrificing a creature to fuel Wight of the Reliquary's tutoring ability, the death triggers Thornbite Staff to instantly untap the Wight, readying it to be tapped again. Meanwhile, every land pulled from your library triggers Thranduil the Strategist's landfall ability to spawn a fresh 1/1 green Elf creature token, which immediately replaces the sacrifice fodder needed to keep the cycle spinning.
