How it works

1. Cast Belonging by paying 5.
2. When Belonging enters, it triggers, creating three 1/1 Shapeshifter creature tokens with changeling.
3. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Belonging.
4. When Belonging dies, Rat King triggers, untapping Rat King.
5. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
6. Activate Rat King by tapping it and sacrificing the Shapeshifters.
7. When the Shapeshifters die, Rat King triggers three times, untapping Rat King.
8. Resolve the Rat King ability from step 5, returning Belonging from your graveyard to the battlefield.
9. Repeat from step 2.

This insidious loop turns the shapeshifting potential of Belonging into an endless engine of sacrifice and resurrection. Armed with Thornbite Staff, Rat King, Verminister stands ready to untap each time a creature leaves the battlefield or dies, allowing it to repeatedly sacrifice your swarm of tokens to pull Belonging right back out of the graveyard.
