How it works
Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 2.
Cast Displace by paying 2, blinking Possessed Skaab and Palinchron
When Possessed Skaab and Palinchron enter the battlefield, their abilities trigger.
Resolve the Possessed Skaab trigger, returning Displace from your graveyard to your hand.
Resolve the Palinchron trigger, untapping up to seven lands.
Repeat.
This brilliant loop turns the blink engine of Displace into a self-sustaining mana and resource machine. As Palinchron enters the battlefield, its ability untaps your lands to easily refund the cost of casting your spells, while Possessed Skaab dutifully returns Displace from your graveyard back to your hand with every single iteration. Because Possessed Skaab’s replacement effect exiles it upon death rather than putting it into the graveyard, blinking it sidesteps its typical graveyard restriction entirely—allowing you to repeatedly harvest your spells and lands for infinite value.
