How it works

1. Cast Ornithopter by paying 0.
2. When Ornithopter enters the battlefield, Ronin Warclub triggers, attaching Ronin Warclub to Ornithopter.
3. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Ornithopter.
4. When Ornithopter dies, Koll triggers, returning Ornithopter from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability, dealing 1 damage to any target.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns free, zero-mana artifacts into a lethal artillery shell by exploiting a recursive equipment-and-return engine. You deploy Ornithopter for free, immediately triggering Ronin Warclub's passive ability to strap itself onto the tiny flyer upon arrival. From there, Goblin Bombardment converts the equipped creature into a direct point of damage, sending it straight to the graveyard. This death triggers Koll, the Forgemaster—whose static-adjacent ability watches for equipped or enchanted creatures to perish—allowing you to scoop Ornithopter right back to your hand and cast it all over again.
