How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Slimefoot and Squee, adding .
2. When Slimefoot and Squee dies, Blood Artist triggers, causing target opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Junji, adding .
4. When Junji dies, it and Blood Artist trigger.
5. Resolve the Blood Artist trigger, causing target opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
6. Resolve the Junji trigger, returning Slimefoot and Squee to the battlefield from your graveyard and causing you to lose 2 life.
7. When Slimefoot and Squee enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
8. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Slimefoot and Squee, adding .
9. When Slimefoot and Squee dies, Blood Artist triggers, causing target opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
10. Activate Slimefoot and Squee by paying 1 and sacrificing a Saproling, returning it and Junji to the battlefield from your graveyard.
11. When Slimefoot and Squee enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
12. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Saproling, adding 1.
13. When the Saproling dies, Blood Artist triggers, causing target opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
14. Repeat.

This gruesome loop operates by recycling legendary threats through the graveyard while extracting a lethal toll from your opponents using Blood Artist to drain their life away piece by piece. Phyrexian Altar acts as the engine, converting your sacrificed creatures into the exact mana needed to fuel the cycle. Whenever Junji, the Midnight Sky perishes, its death trigger cheats Slimefoot and Squee back onto the battlefield, which in turn spawns a Saproling token to keep the momentum going. Ultimately, Slimefoot and Squee's own activated ability brings Junji back into the mix alongside it, creating an endless loop of sacrifice, resurrection, and inevitable victory.
