Selvala, Heart of the Wilds + Slimefoot and Squee + Umbral Collar Zealot + Hammer of Purphoros
How it works
- Activate Selvala by paying and tapping it, adding at least 1.
- Activate Umbral Collar Zealot twice by sacrificing Selvala and Slimefoot and Squee.
- Activate Slimefoot and Squee by paying 1 and sacrificing a Saproling, returning it and Selvala from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- When Slimefoot and Squee enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
- Repeat.
This clever loop relies on Selvala, Heart of the Wilds to generate a massive windfall of colored mana by tapping for the greatest power among your creatures, which easily funds the resurrection costs of Slimefoot and Squee. To make this engine work, Umbral Collar Zealot provides the necessary outlet to neatly slide both Selvala and Slimefoot and Squee into the graveyard by sacrificing them. Once they are safely in the bin, Slimefoot and Squee's activated ability brings them both right back to the battlefield, immediately triggering its own effect to spawn a Saproling token and feeding right back into the Zealot. Meanwhile, Hammer of Purphoros ensures that your recycled creatures can enter the fray with haste to keep the sequence fluid and continuous.
